How to put on blush??? XD?

Im really pale and pretty much have no cheekbones hahaha. i do put on eye makeup and bronzer and stuff but i never was really tought how to correctly put on blush to make my cheekbones stick out. people say to put it on the apples of ur cheeks.... wat the heck is tht!?!?!?! also what is primer??? i kno u put it on before makup is it just for eye makeup or wat??? thank u sooooo much!!! have a great day!!!
