I live in Ohio and I want to obtain a ccw permit. I was charged with misdemenor Domestic Violence in 1995.?

The charge was dismissed in court but still shows on background check.It does say it was dismissed on the paper as well. I maced a relative that was threatening violence and wouldn't leave my house while severely drugged up. Can I still get my CCW?
