Is it legal for a 19 year old and 16 year old to date?

Okay so I was born June 30, 1995 and my boyfriend was born June 25, 1992. I'll be 16 in two days. Is it legal for us to date? I've heard people say that in some states a 16 year old can have sex with a 19 year old, and 20 year old can have sex with a 17 year old, etc. We weren't planning on having sex! Basically I'm wondering if its legal in OHIO for 16 year old can have sex with a 19 year old, and 20 year old can have sex with a 17 year old, etc...? Please help? Im not going to have sex regardless of it being legal or not I'm just curious...
