What will happen to my eye?

On Sunday I got punched in the eye, not unbelievably hard. A small lump on my upper cheekbone, just below my eye formed.(maybe about the size of an m&m) and now there is a purplish green bride from the corner of my eye to the edge of my upper cheekbone. will it get worse or better considering this is from Sunday afternoon to Monday afternoon?
