Do you think the percentage of Americans lacking intellectual curiosity is growing dangerously rapidly?
I have no real statistics to back up my assertion but through general observances I feel more and more Americans are lacking any intellectual curiosity about anything that's enlightening and are more concerned or at least enthralled by the idiocies and eccentricities of society (e.g. cable tv, reality shows, extremely vexatious/horrendous music, video games, etc.) I feel like level of intelligence relative to decades past is lower in the nation's youth. I arrived at my last conclusion from observances of my nephews, nieces and their outrageously vexatious friends. Am I the only one that notices or feels this?
