If i shot someone with my shotgun(registered and under my name) in defence against them breaking into my car.?

If i shot someone with my shotgun(registered and under my name) in defence against them breaking into my car or house, how much trouble could i get in? If i could even get into trouble... I live in Ohio and I'm 18
