What if my private high school has no soccer team?

i live in the cleveland, ohio area. I am a soon-to-be senior at a private school and our soccer program recently fell apart. However, i have a good shot at playing at a smaller college. Is there a way i can play for my public high school? Or should i just call the coach and see if there is a rule for this? aNyone ever experience this?
